Meetups
Meet over coffee
Small, free meetups in cafés in Algerian cities, for founders, builders and the developers who work with them. No invitation, title or pitch deck needed. They are organised on founders.coffee, djazair.dev’s sister project.
What happens
A small table and a subject
Around a subject
A small group meets in a real café to talk about the subject the host described.
No slides, no pitches
Talk about your work and what you’re stuck on. Don’t use the meetup to promote a product or service.
Free
There’s no fee to join or to host. Everyone pays for their own order.
Hosting
No meetup in your city yet? Host the first one
Anyone can host. Whoever publishes a meetup runs it.
- 01
Pick a café and a time
Somewhere easy to reach, with room for a small group.
- 02
Say what it’s about
One subject, so people know what they’re coming to talk about.
- 03
Meet
People confirm on the meetup’s page. On the day, the host posts the table number there.
