Ideas
Vote for the next project
Anyone can propose an open-source project that would help people in Algeria, and anyone with a GitHub account can vote. Every quarter, djazair.dev adopts the idea with the most votes and builds it in the open.
Q4 2026 round
Voting closes at the end of , UTC.

Describe the problem
Say what is hard or missing, who it would help and the skills it needs, in English or Arabic. The form on GitHub asks for each, and for a champion to lead it.
- 02
Gather votes
Anyone with a GitHub account can upvote an idea, once. Votes carry over from one quarter to the next until the idea is adopted.
- 03
One adopted each quarter
When a quarter ends, the maintainers review the ideas with the most votes. The first with at least 10 votes and a champion is adopted: it gets a repository in djazair.dev’s GitHub organisation and a place in the Hub.
Votes are GitHub upvotes, one per account, and this list is refreshed every 6 hours. When a round closes, the next Hub sync saves its count on GitHub: see the saved counts.
